Tony Hancock
William Graham Hancock · 23 August 1933 – 29 June 2020
An introduction from the family will go here.
Add a memory: if you knew Tony, we would love to hear from you. Go to Send a memory (at the top of every page), put your name, and your email if you would like a reply, write a memory, a story or a few words, add photographs or a video if you have any, and press Send to the family. It goes privately, by email, to the family, who will add it to the site only if you say we may. No password is needed: signing in is only for the family.
Family: sign in with your own name and the family password (the same as on Granny Mum's site). A 4-digit code will then come to your email. Signed in, you can add your own memories straight onto the Memories page, and note or correct anything on the site.
This is the family's place for Tony: his life as far as we can tell it, his own words from Michael's film of 2020, the photographs, and the memories of the people who knew him. Much of it was pieced together after his death, so dates and names can be wrong: please correct them. His family and where he came from are under Ancestry.
This site works like a wiki. Every paragraph and photograph can take a note: hover or tap on anything and press the small +. Every paragraph and caption can also be edited, or have a paragraph added under it: press ✎. Use a note for a memory, a question, or something you are not sure of; edit the text itself when you know it is wrong or can add to it. Every change is kept with your name on it, and any change can be put back. See Changes.
